Students should arrive 10 minutes prior to a scheduled class. All dancers will have a mandatory dress code for each of their classes. Including ballet slippers, dance attire, and hair requirements, and equipped with a yoga mat.
The communication between New Stars Dance School and students’ parents and/or legal guardians is managed only via email. As a part of the registration process parents and/or legal guardians should provide a valid email address to New Stars Dance School, whereas it is the parents’ and/or legal guardians’ responsibility to check the correspondence in a timely manner.
Prior to the special events, concerts, competitions, and/or any other public shows students must attend scheduled classes in order to be eligible to participate in these events. Students should attend classes weekly (1 class per week) or twice a week (2 classes per week) it depending on the programs they enrolled in.
This is an annual fee that includes all classes from September through June of the dance season and administrative fees.
No money for services rendered (regardless of student attendance) will be refunded once paid. Costumes rental fees or an additional fee are non-refundable; the fee may vary based on the type of costume, events, competitions, and/or shows. No refunds if any newly arising scheduling conflict with another activity or sporting event, or disinterest in continuing with dance.
Missed classes will be provided based on scheduled class availability and students’ eligibility. Extended missed classes due to illness or injury with an eligible physician’s note may be considered on an individual basis. Missed classes due to personal reasons (vacation, personal schedule conflicts, etc.) are non-refundable. The student can attend missed classes based on spot availability. The make-up class should be coordinated with the head coach in advance via email at info@newstarsgo.ca
All New Stars Dance School dancers will be held to the highest standards of conduct. Communicating negatively about anyone, including oneself, in or outside our studio will not be tolerated. Dancers and parents are expected to show courtesy and respect to all staff and other students.
New Stars Dance School reserves the right to-In case of inclement weather conditions that cause school cancellations, medical reasons, force major, and/or other reasons by which the New Stars Dance School rental facility will be closed and/or New Stars Dance School will not be able to provide a scheduled class, New Stars Dance School will communicate the date and time of the next practice via email.
Each student is required to wear their New Stars Dance School uniform while attending classes. The appropriate uniform set, tailored to their age and program, should be purchased before the start of the school year.
